Strippers in demo over ban

STRIPPERS have staged a protest against plans for a city to become the first in England to ban them.

They braved the cold weather to oppose the proposals to outlaw sexual entertainment venues.

Several women and non-binary sex workers took part in the demo next to City Hall in Bristol.

One of the strippers, Chloe, 23, said the plans could make “100 people unemployed”.

She added: “Our safety is under threat. It’s about having licensed, regulated strip clubs.

“They are taking away our rights and moral autonomy, and it’s not based on any evidence or facts.”
