Ace Lee hanging tragedy
AN inquest heard yesterday that footballer Lee Collins was found hanging at a hotel.
Lee, 32, was captain of Yeovil Town and died on March 31, sparking an outpouring of grief from fans.
He played his last game for the club on February 6 against Stockport County.
In a statement, Somerset Coroner Tony Williams said Lee “was found in his room hanging” at Lanes Hotel, in West Coker.
An interim post-mortem examination report confirmed hanging was the “cause of death” subject to blood analysis, he added.
The inquest has been adjourned to later this year.
