Sorry, but I want to take over the world

CORRY EYES CHARTS

-

JOEL Corry has joked that the Official Charts will need to change their name to “Joel’s Charts” in the summer.

The DJ has warned his musical peers he’s preparing for chart domination when live shows return and he can finally perform all of his hits.

He’s predicting a huge surge in his music when he hits the road, and brings out collaborators Raye,

David Guetta, and

MNEK for starstudded shows.

Joel told me: “They will need to change the name of the charts to the ‘Joel Corry charts.’

“It’s going to be a great summer and I’m so, so excited for it now I can get back Djing, I feel it’s going to be the best summer ever to be honest.

“Me and MNEK talk about it all the time, that moment I can bring him out on stage and we can perform Head & Heart together in front of a crowd, and imagine bringing Raye out and doing Bed together, Hayley

May who I did Sorry with, and Harlee for Lonely. The shows are going to be mind-blowing.”

And not satisfied with his four Top 10s in a year, Joel also teased that he has some pretty huge collabs still to come.

“I’ve been working so hard on new music during this lockdown so I have plenty more to come this summer.

“I have some really exciting stuff in the pipeline, some big names I have been working with and I am looking to keep this ball rolling.”

His current single Bed, with Raye and David Guetta, is on course to break into the top five this week, and Joel hopes to follow in Guetta’s footsteps and still be successful in another 20 years.

“Guetta is one of my idols. He is the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), he is a legend, an icon.

“What he’s done, staying at the top of his game for so many years, I take a lot of inspiration from that.”
