BOSSES at the BBC negotiated over the amount of swearing in The Thick Of It.
Show creator Armando Iannucci, 57, said: “I still have the emails where someone said, ‘Last week’s episode had the equivalent of 13.9 f ***s per minute.
“We will allow you three c***s if you can get the f*** quota down to 10 per minute.”
The sitcom’s swearer-in-chief was Malcolm Tucker, played by Peter Capaldi.
