Fab time for Silva
WOLVES’ record signing Fabio Silva says he doesn’t listen to critics labelling him a £35m flop.
The 18-year-old has struggled to live up to his price tag since joining from Porto at the start of the season.
He came off the bench to score in Monday’s 3-2 home defeat by West Ham – his third of the season.
Silva said: “What other people say is not important for me, the most important for me is the moments come natural.
“For a striker, it’s amazing and gives you more confidence to score, so I’m very happy.”
The teenager added: “The coach said to put some energy in the game, do the things I do in training. When you are focused and work hard, good things come.”
