SAM RALLYING CALL

-

SAM ALLARDYCE has told bench hero Callum Robinson to do what he’s paid for – score goals.

The striker scored twice in the shock 5-2 thrashing of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, to add to his only other two goals this season – also against Chelsea.

He bagged a double in the 3-3 home draw in September and Big Sam has told the 26-year-old to show how good he is.

Robinson, who joined the Baggies in a straight swap for £12m-rated Oliver Burke at Sheffield

United, had been an unused sub in the last seven games.

Allardyce said: “He was brought here to score goals. And the quality of those goals showed he has the ability to produce that type of finishing in the Premier League.

“You want your substitutes to make an impact and what a massive impact he made.

“Let’s hope he can keep it up because we need to convert the chances we are creating if we are to stand any chance of safety.”
