Nathan’s given a BRITS tip-ple!

POSH CHAMPERS WARNING

-

BRITS veteran Anne-marie has advised newbie Nathan Dawe to pack his own booze for next month’s ceremony.

After accumulating an impressive nine BRIT nominations herself over the years, the singer has some sound advice for first-time nominee Nathan.

She stressed that the producer should pack a bottle of his choice because they only dish out the fancy Champers.

Speaking in a joint interview with me, Anne-marie told Nathan: “My tips Nathan, I’d say don’t get drunk before you go on the red carpet because you will still get asked things but do get drunk in the actual event.

“Everyone drinks Champagne and stuff and I don’t like it so I drank Malibu on my table. So, I’d say if you don’t like Champagne bring your own booze.”

Nathan will be on the tins, he laughed: “I’ll bring some of the Pornstar Martini cans then.”

Speaking about his British Single nod for his KSI collab Lighter, the DJ gushed: “It’s been a whirlwind, it all kicked off in lockdown at the very start so I’m lucky in that way as it’s all been very exciting and new. I’ve been constantly engaged and busy so it’s been great.

“It’s pretty mental to be nominated for a BRIT and doing these collaborations. Long may it continue.”

Nathan and Anne-marie have teamed up with Mostack for their new track Way Too Long and said it was a relief they actually got to film the music video in person.

Anne-marie added: “We actually did the music video all together, we were all Covid tested so we were actually allowed to be near strangers!

“It was amazing, I never thought I’d like to be around strangers before but now I love it.”
