A VEGETARIAN was “physically sick” after eating meat for the first time due to a Mcdonald’s blunder.

Charlotte Sunshine’s boyfriend Calum Donaghy had ordered her a Vegetable Deluxe meal.

But she ended up vomiting and in tears after biting into a chicken burger which had been put in veggie wrapping by mistake.

She said: “It traumatised me. I actually got Calum to come as I needed support.

“I burst into tears and was physically sick.” The 26-year-old shared photos of the botched order online after she unintentionally broke her lifelong commitment to not eating meat.

Charlotte, who lives in Edinburgh, close to the restaurant in Corstorphine, added: “It’s dangerous.

“If you’re mislabelling food it could be something someone’s allergic to.”

A Mcdonald’s spokesman said of the incident: “This is not acceptable.

“We apologise to the customer for the mistake.”
