COBAIN SKETCH A £200K FETCH

A Self-drawn caricature by Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain has sold at auction for almost £200,000 – 28 times its estimate. The black pen drawing on stationery from Singapore’s TNT Music Centre, features the star playing guitar. Kurt, who took his own life aged 27 in 1994, signed it “Kurdt Kobain Rock Star”.

The buyer at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, LA, is a private collector.
