Gun thug caged

A THUG who shot a hero police officer three times in the face with a pellet gun has been jailed for 11 years.

Marshall Coe, 40, left Sgt Dave Cayton with ball bearings lodged in his skull. But Sgt Cayton disarmed him with a Taser then arrested him, in Desborough, Northants. Sgt Cayton said: “I feel lucky not to be blind or dead.” Coe was convicted at Northampton Crown Court of wounding with intent and possession of a firearm.
