Migrants ‘in sofas’

A MAN who tried to smuggle migrants into the UK hidden in sofas was jailed.

Arman Rahmani, 21, concealed people in the base of sofas and tried to bring them from France and Belgium in hired vans.

He admitted breaking immigration law and was jailed for two years and seven months at Preston Crown Court, Lancs.
