‘Gypsy’ bug tag banned

THE woke mob is winning its war over getting “racist” insect and bird names changed.

Gypsy moths and gypsy ants have been rebranded.

Joe Rominiecki, of the Entomological Society of America, said: “We don’t want to associate pests with ethnic and cultural groups.”
