Cornwall set to be the best of Britton

FERN’S ROAD TRIP

FERN Britton has landed her own travel show, Hot TV can reveal.

The presenter is set to head to Cornwall for a new two-part series for Channel 5.

We’ll see her investigate the area’s rich history in My Cornwall With Fern Britton.

A show insider said: “Fern’s lifelong connection with Cornwall spans childhood holidays to working and living in the region.

“Now it’s time for her to learn more about the county that has captivated her imagination. She will look beyond the bucket-andspade beaches of Cornwall and explore a place that has its own language, heritage and customs, built on ancient myths and legends and its significant industrial heritage.”

Bosses at Channel 5 have also commissioned another show about the region – Cornwall: A Year By The Sea.

The four-part series will showcase the festivals and regattas taking place throughout the four seasons.
