SINGER Nicki Minaj has made virus guru Chris Whitty furious by tweeting that a pal’s plums swelled to an unfeasible size after a Covid jab.

England’s chief medical officer found himself in a bizarre war of words with the rapper yesterday.
She told the world that her cousin refused to get vaccinated because a coronavirus shot left his pal impotent weeks before his wedding.
Caribbean-born Minaj, 38, tweeted: “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent. His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married.
“Now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision.’’

Prof Whitty said: “There are a number of myths that fly around, some of which are clearly ridiculous and some clearly designed just to scare.
“That happens to be one of them. That is untrue. There are a few people who’ve got strange beliefs, and fine, and they make their own choices, and in a sense, also fine. People, adults, are allowed to make
their own choices. That is a basic principle of medical ethics. “But there are also people who go around trying to discourage other people from taking a vaccine which could be life-saving or prevent them having life-changing injuries. “And many of those people, I think know they are peddling untruths. In my view they should be ashamed.”
The Prime Minister waded in, admitting he was “not as familiar with the works” of Minaj as he should be and adding he would rather listen to “superstar” GP Nikki Kanani instead.
After watching the PM, Minaj tweeted: “I love him even tho I guess this was a diss? The accent ugh! Yassss boo!!!’’ She then posted a link to an audio clip saying: “Send this to the Prime Minister and let him know they lied on me. I forgive him. No-one else. Only him.”
