RICHARD Madeley has been slammed for his “insensitive” comments hailing a low death rate for the double-jabbed.
The stand-in Good Morning Britain host said it was “good news” that only 59 vaccinated people had died this year.
His cohost Susanna Reid told him: “Well, you know, that many deaths is never good news.”
One viewer tweeted: “Those 59 are people with families.”
