IF you have ever wondered what The Queen smells like, well apparently it’s flowers!
Poet and author Pam Ayres uncovers the royal secret in her new Channel 5 show where she explores The Cotswolds. It starts on Friday at 8pm.
Pam pays a visit to The Cotswold Perfumery and discovers they make a special scent for Her Majesty there. Chief perfumer John Steven informs her: “We made a fragrance for The Queen.
“She likes a white floral one that was based on jasmine and lily and gardenia.
“It was made exclusively for her!”
Disappointed Pam tells him: “I can’t go and buy a gallon! I’m jealous.”
