Al Bright at home

- By TONY BANKS

ALEXIS MAC ALLISTER admits that he has fallen in love with life in Sussex by the sea – and has pledged his future to Brighton.

The playmaker, 22, has become a key part of manager Graham Potter’s attacking plans, having had to be patient in a long settling in period at the Amex Stadium since arriving from Argentinos Juniors in 2019.

With one goal and an assist in four games as Brighton have moved into the top six, that patience is starting to pay off.

Argentine Mac Allister, who has two years left on his Albion contract, said: “I’m happy now here with my girlfriend. We love the people, who are really kind to us. I love Brighton and I think I will stay here for a few years more.”
