Why I’d love to wed Simon and Lauren

SEXY SINGER SINITTA IS NOW A PASTOR AND READY TO MARRY EX

- ■ by KIM CARR

POP legend Sinitta has offered to marry her ex boyfriend Simon Cowell.

But the star is not planning to tie the knot with the music mogul – she’s an ordained minister who can conduct his wedding to Lauren Silverman. After becoming a born-again Christian in 1994, she underwent Training to become a pastor at London’s Hillsong church.

And Sinitta says: “I have offered my services to marry Simon and Lauren. The invitation has not been accepted or declined at this moment.

"We’re all really good friends. I know people find it weird but we're so much more than exes – we're godparents to each other’s children and have known each other since we were kids.

"It would make the wedding so much more special if I did it, but thre isn’t a date yet. The invitations haven’t been issued.”

After nine years of being single herself, the So Macho singer also believes it’s time to find love.

Despite exes including Hollywood actor Brad Pitt and singer David Essex, Sinitta – who divorced husband Andy Willner in 2010 – feels it’s only now she knows which boxes her future long term partner must tick.

She says: “I’m looking for the whole package.

"I've decided I don’t have to compromise – and maybe short men are hot as I have a little bit of a physical stereotype.

"I need a grown-ass man who knows how to love a woman, treat her with respect, listen, understand, be giving, supportive – a proper equal partnership.

"I don’t need to be little Sinitta looking up any more.”

I'ts 30 years since the star’s cover Shirley & Company’s Shame, Shame, Shame – which saw her pose on and Levi the jeans. cover in a Wonderbra And the 58-year-old, who famously appeared on The X Factor with nothing more than palm leaves covering her modesty, says: "I’m not saying I need to be on the front page in a bra but I do feel sexier.

"I've gotten over the cringe of young Sinitta.” Doing Pilates and eating well has helped Sinitta take care of her figure, so much so she is launching a supplements range next month and has even been dissolving the filler in her face.

She adds: “I lost a lot of weight because of a family tragedy and looked skeletal, so my doctor rebuilt my face with fillers.

“As I recovered, I ended up with a pillow face, so since January we have been reducing the filler.

“It stretches your face so we have to do it slowly or my face would have been hanging down.”

And her attractiveness has led to some surprises in Sinitta’s social media interaction.

She says: “I have had some interesting messages – photographs I wouldn’t encourage that are inappropriate.

“That’s not the way to seduce me or get me into a relationship.

“I appreciate those things, guys, but it’s quite strong.

“I find it amusing, but what is it about me that makes someone think I would like that?

“You never know how people perceive you.”

As well as playing Mama Morton in a tour of the musical Chicago, Sinitta is preparing to release her new single Do It To Me Baby, which she’s worked on with Rob Davis, who co-wrote Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.

Plus she is championing Debt Free London’s Pride Month hotline after a survey by Experian found 62% of LGBTQI+ respondents had experienced financial problems because of their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Challenges include housing and wage discrimination plus lack of career advancement.

Sinitta says: “Money and debt are huge issues for everyone right now, but it’s sad in this day and age there is discrimination when it’s illegal.

“Bespoke things like this make a difference as we are going in the right direction towards equality.”
