More in calls for cash aid
MONEY worries have forced more than one in five of us to seek free help or guidance in the three months up to September.
A survey of 3,000 adults for Talk Money Week revealed people had asked their bank or energy supplier for extra help, with almost as many (18%) seeking free debt advice.
Caroline Siarkiewicz, boss of the Money and Pensions Service, which ran the survey, said: “Free help and advice is available – people don’t have to struggle on alone.”
