TODAY: There will be some early bright spells however thick cloud cover will soon build. Then largely dry during the day however there will be a few showers in the west. Longer spells of rain will spread into the north-west.

OUTLOOK: Tomorrow will be cloudy with outbreaks of rain in the north-west. Spells of sunshine will develop later across England and Wales. Mainly dry on Saturday with bright spells.
