ALMOST 40% of cashstrapped motorists are fearing their next MOT – but half of them would drive their car without one.

And 51% say despite being employed they are in “working poverty”.

Halfords, which conducted the poll, is now offering 1,000 free MOTs to struggling families who need a car to get to work.
