QUANTUM OF SOLACE ★★★ (2008) ITV4, 8pm Daniel Craig’s worst Bond film sets him on an action-packed mission of vengeance as he pursues a secret criminal organisation that is trying to get involved in the water industry. The plot is confusing, the villain is weak and there isn’t a single decent quip but Craig, Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton make memorable appearances.

13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI ★★★★ (2016) Film4, 1.10am Transformers director Michael Bay entered the 2016 Presidential race by staging this admittedly thrilling reconstruction of the 2012 siege on a US compound in Libya that was allegedly bungled by then secretary of state Hilary Clinton. Jack (John Krasinski) is one of the bearded ex-soldiers hired to protect the secret CIA base from hordes of militants.
