Fear camp mates will walk out over Coco

CAMPMATES reacted with anger to the appearance of Matt “Coco” Hancock in the Jungle – leading to fears some could quit in protest.

Boy George, who thought his mum was going to die in hospital during the pandemic, was visibly upset to see the former Health Secretary.

The tearful star said if she had not survived, he would have left when Hancock entered the jungle.

Speaking in the Bush Telegraph, the singer said: “If I had lost my mum, I would go.”

Others, including Corrie star Sue Cleaver, were unhappy he was there.

And hosts Ant and Dec think could get worse as tensions mount.

Ant said: “None of the other contestants realised Matt was going in because they were all in isolation. So as you can see by their reactions, there was shock, surprise and a bit of anger.”

Dec added: “They’re all being very nice and polite so far. But I think once the novelty has worn off, I think there could be a little bit of spikiness.”

Sue Cleaver said the MP’s decision to go on the show “does not sit well with me”.

When Mike Tindall heard Coco’s reasons for joining the show – to show MPs are not “in a very sort of strict way of being”– he said: “All I heard was bull***t, bull***t, bull***t.”
