HARD-UP BRITS CANCEL XMAS!
CASHSTRAPPED Brits have said they will not celebrate Christmas at all this year.
A poll of 2,000 found that 5% said there would be no presents, turkey dinner, tree or festive decorations. Taken across the country, that would be a whopping 3.3million Brits cancelling Christmas. Barnardo’s, which commissioned the study, put it down to soaring inflation. A spokesman said: “Shoppers are feeling the pinch this festive season.”
