‘SCOOT TO KILL’ HUNT

A MAN is suspected of mowing down a pigeon on his mobility scooter before killing it with his walking stick. CCTV images show the balding man with grey hair and a beard appearing to veer towards the bird, which was dragged along for several feet. Pigeon fan group Peck Savers claim he finished it off by hitting it with his stick. Police who are looking for the man in Norwich said killing a pigeon in such circumstances “is an offence”.
