So out of tune

-

I THOUGHT bonkers decisions by faceless bureaucrats were supposed to end when we departed the EU.

But it seems they’re alive and well in Brexit Britain with the news that the English National Opera has been ordered to move from London to Manchester.

The reason for the bizarre banishment, along with its 300 full-time singers, musicians and technical staff, is to bend the Arts Council’s budget around the Government’s levelling-up agenda – run by arch Brexiteer and candidate for the new Phantom Of The Opera, Michael Gove.
