MICHAEL BANS A-LISTER STARS
MICHAEL McIntyre has banned A-list celebs from The Wheel.
The presenter thinks having a global superstar as one of the experts would ruin it.
Michael said: “The celebrities have to be of a similar standard.
“I don’t know if the show would work with an international A-lister on it.
“If you had someone like Daniel Craig, I’m not sure it would work.
“It would be like when they have a big American star on a chat show and you have to hope they’re having a good time.”
Michael loves having TV favourites such as Alison Hammond and Joey Essex on the show.
He added: “We get a really good cross-section. I like to have people who you wouldn’t expect to see on a game show.
“The celebrities we’ve had really love it. They all want to come back.”
The celebs on this week’s episode include Clare Balding and Rustie Lee.
