My husband is such a coward

DURING a dispute with our neighbour, my husband failed to back me up. He left me arguing about a fallen tree branch while he went inside to watch the telly.

I stormed in and called him a coward. He grunted that he “didn’t want to get involved”. What kind of partner does that? I was left feeling disappointed and exposed.

JANE SAYS: Hopefully you sorted out the dispute, so let this go. Maybe your husband wasn’t feeling well or was worried about losing his temper?

Don’t let rot set in if he’s a good person in other areas. Clearly, you’re strong enough to fight your own battles, so give him a break. Not everyone feels tough or confident all the time.
