Moyles: I don’t think he’s sorry

CHRIS Moyles labelled Matt “Coco” Hancock a “b***end” as the camp turned on the ex-Health Secretary over his lockdown busting shame.

DJ Chris, below, led a barrage of criticism from campmates in extraordinary scenes that left the MP close to tears.

Coco, who was forced to quit after he was caught snogging aide Gina Coladangelo in his office, tried to blame his behaviour on falling in love. But Loose Women star Charlene White, whose aunt died of Covid, said his excuse “doesn’t really cut it”.

Coco replied: “Yeah. Well, there you go. That’s one of the reasons that I regret it as much as I do.” The former cabinet member then said what he was “looking for is a bit of forgiveness”.

But Moyles wasn’t convinced. He said: “I wanted to go, ‘Forgiveness for what Matt? What are you sorry for? Are you sorry for being caught? Are you sorry for having an affair? Are you sorry for lying? He’s trying to portray that he’s being totally honest and it’s eating away at me.”
