‘Madeley’ hunt
WANTED MAN’S HOST’S DOUBLE
POLICE are hunting a fugitive who people claim looks just like Richard Madeley.
Grant Williams is wanted for not attending court over an allegation of failing to stop a vehicle when asked by police.
But after police shared his mugshot, social media users noticed resemblance to the telly presenter, 66.
Daniel Martin posted: “Richard Madeley has let himself go,” while Danielle Tomlinson wrote: “Richard Madeley No4.”
Kara Swann added: “Definitely Madeley.”
And Caz Bowling wrote: “Richard Madeley, finally, for nicking the wine.”
Madeley was cleared of shoplifting in 1994, citing a memory lapse for failing to pay for items at Tesco.
Williams, who missed a hearing before Poole magistrates, is among six men and two women wanted by Dorset Police.
