BRITISH Airways male pilots and cabin crew are to be allowed to wear make-up, it is claimed.

The airline’s strict uniform code has long held genderspecific uniforms. Now men have been told they can wear a “touch of mascara and lip colour” and false eyelashes, carry handbags and paint their nails – just like women.

According to reports, staff were told of the change in a memo, saying “be bold, be proud, be yourself”.
