DAFT rocker Rob Halford botched a bid to chuck a TV out of his hotel room – when he couldn’t unplug it.
The humiliated Judas Priest frontman ended up stumbling about before having to put it back down.
Rob, 71, admitted his attempt to get “into the clichéd rock-star thing of trashing hotel rooms” was “bloody useless”.
In his new book Biblical, the Breaking the Law singer confessed: “I can’t remember where in America I was, but I was fallingdown drunk in my room and suddenly, f*** knows why, I hated the TV.
“I could have just turned it off, but instead I suddenly visualised myself smashing it up and hurling it out the window, like a real rock star.
“I picked it up, but the wires from the back of the set were welded to the wall — or, if they weren’t, I was too p***ed to be able to work out how to disconnect them!
“All I could do was stagger around my room carrying the heavy telly, still tethered to the wall. This made me totally livid.”
