Swap wages of MPs with nurses’ pay

-

❑ The quick and easy way to solve the problem of the nurses pay rise is to swap the pay packets of nurses to the members of Parliament pay packet, members of Parliament have been over paid for far too long, see if they can live on the nurses wage. mettyesh Durham

❑ So the pm has rejected the nurses pay demand, no comment from sir keir who could be pm in the next 2 years. tim pittway in manchester

❑ Thought I’d heard it all about the so called royals – grapes polished, bath water temperature exactly right etc etc – but wait for it – apparently shoe laces have to be ironed – bet they don’t tie them themselves! Geo, Durham

❑ That tosser who tried to egg the King was just following a family tradition. His mother obviously wasted her eggs. Duffy

❑ Kwarteng trying 2 distance himself from the financial earthquake he was a part of. Really pathetic. ANGST

❑ Following the nonappearance of the red wave after USA Midterm Elections, we have ex-president Trump stating “Remember, I am a Stable Genius”. Does the word stable refer to his own stability or a horse stable as much of what he says might be considered manure? Maybe it is time for Mr Trump to be put out to pasture and a new fresher face to appear, perhaps Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Dennis Fitzgerald

❑ When I travel abroad i consider myself to be a guest in that country, which means i abide and respect their laws and way of life, i make sure i don’t offend anyone and hopefully return home having learnt some thing to my advantage. If I were going to Qatar for The World Cup i would be going for the football, i would also like to see the country and its people. I would not be going to complain about its laws concerning homosexuality etc, i certainly wouldn’t be displaying any flags or badges or making any form of protest. If you disagree with their way of life then don’t go, watch the games on the telly. Sorted! Smiler

❑ Re Qatar and it’s no tolerance of Homosexual relationships and Gay Marriage. We must not forget that unlike countries like ours who have a live and let live laws regarding these matters, Qatar like many other countries laws that say it’s not ACCEPTABLE in their countries. Although we here in Britain don’t agree with their laws it is what is enshrined in their culture for thousands of years and no point of complaining will alter it. The best way not to be imprisoned or WORSE in Qatar’s World cup is do not disrespect their laws as they will not tolerate foreigners imposing their ideas and way of life on them that’s enjoyed in free thinking countries. ❑ Wolfson should know better than to advocate cramming even more people on to our already overcrowded island. We have more than enough people here to fill job vacancies! P. Lombodo

❑ Master of the hounds says it all. Blood sport weirdo. Some1 should treat him and his cruel son in the same way. Jail time needed 4 them both. lufc bri

❑ Attention txtrs. Dave pinfold eats steak in case u wur in any doubt. Yawn. Any vegans out there he wants your reaction. Give him none pfft. lucy

❑ So now chef Tom Kerridge charging 195 quid for a crap xmas beef Wellington box are these “celeb” chefs thick. ppl cant afford that these days. Ramsey is just as bad. stig2

❑ 80 a pint: what is it rocket fuel? i’ll have a half – i only have a little rocket! SUNNY JIM
