FANS heading to the World Cup have been issued with a list of “don’ts and don’ts” to avoid trouble in strict Qatar.
Boozing, swearing and public displays of affection are outlawed along with pornography, pork, religious books and vapes.
The British Government guide states there is zero tolerance for drug crimes in the Muslim country.
Drinking in a public place could result in a sixmonth prison sentence and a £736 fine.
And fans who need to take medication also need to take their prescription, hospital note or a letter from a GP detailing the drug, quantity prescribed and dosage.
UK Foreign Office advice states: “Some prescribed and over-the-counter medicines may be controlled substances in Qatar.’’
