BANDMATES should have each other’s backs – and that’s precisely what Hannah Wilson and Julia Fabrin do.

The duo met at a house party in London, and have since gone on to rock stages at Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds festivals while Julia was seven months’ pregnant. Julia laughed: “Hannah really put up with a lot dealing with a heavily pregnant, very hormonal bandmate saying, ‘I have acid reflux every time I eat!’”

Their mix of smart, self-deprecating lyrics and interweaving pop melodies has earned comparisons with Self Esteem.

“We dig into our weird, nasty bits of our personalities together,” Hannah told me. “We’re always able to laugh at it.”
