Crisis in the NHS

FEWER than half of NHS trusts think they will meet key recovery targets on waiting lists and cancer.

The poll of health trust leaders for NHS Providers comes as 7.1million people are on the overall waiting list, with a raft of cancer targets being routinely missed.

Some 85% of trust leaders also said they were more concerned about this coming winter than any previous one during their career.
