Shot to die for
A UKRAINIAN sniper has shot dead a Russian soldier from almost 1.7 miles away.
It is the second-longest sniper kill in history.
In footage shared online the sharpshooter is seen lining up his target. He then fires and, seconds later, the bullet hits the soldier, who collapses.
A Ukraine spokesman said: “The occupier was eliminated by a precise shot of our special forces from a distance of 2,710 metres.”
The longest-ever kill was by a Canadian sniper who took out an IS terrorist in Iraq from 3,450m away.
