PARIS MASCOTS A POO-DUNNIT
CONFUSED sports fans claim the 2024 Paris Olympic mascots look like the poo emoji.
The mascots – named The Phryges – were unveiled yesterday, with the Paris Olympics Twitter account saying: “Here are the Olympic Phryge and the Paralympic Phryge! The #Paris2024 mascots. They are sporty, love to party... and are so French.”
But fans were mystified, and one critic wrote: “These two look like the poo emoji.” Others compared them to Papa Smurf’s hat, Super Mario baddies and even “two red pigeons”.
