‘Mates’ ruined big day

-

THREE of my friends ruined my wedding – and I’m convinced they did it on purpose.

They turned up late (and drunk) to the service. They mucked around during the photographs and heckled during the speeches.

One groped a waiter, another was sick in a pot plant, while the third got under the table and attempted to give my cousin oral sex.

The best man said that if they didn’t stop harassing him he’d call the police.

They made the whole wedding about them, and I didn’t get a look in.

It’s six weeks on and I’m still waiting on an apology.

JANE SAYS: You must accept they’re not true friends.

You’re embarking on a new life and must decide if these (jealous) people are going to be a part of your future.

Sadly, if no-one has apologised, then they clearly don’t believe that they did anything wrong.

Try not to be angry. Go forward with your new spouse and accept that that was then, and this is now.

Perhaps the time to give them a rocket will be if they ever dare to contact you again.
