Hancock: Liz career ‘finished’
“LETTUCE” Liz Truss’s political career is “over”, Coco declared last night, while also suggesting he influenced Boris “Bozo” Johnson in his decision not to run for PM again.
He told Corrie star and campmate Sue Cleaver: “Her political career is over, no ambiguity at all.”
But Hancock added that Truss’s disastrous premiership was partly down to misfortune.
He claimed she was “unlucky” that interest rates went up globally as she brought in “a financial statement where you say, ‘We’re going to do all these expensive things and we’re not going to say how we’re going to pay for them.’”
And he added that he influenced Bozo not to go up against Rishi Sunak, saying: “I texted him and I said, ‘You know I think you’re wonderful but it’s not your time’.’”

STANDARDS watchdog Kathryn Stone has had “dozens of complaints” about Coco’s jungle stint. She said: “It raises really important questions about members’ proper activities.”
