JUNGLE BRIEFS

-

★ SEANN Walsh believes he has always struggled to have structure in his life because he grew up with a drug-addict father.

The comedian, 36, quit drinking and tried to organise his life better after his Strictly kiss scandal. He said: “But that thing of finding structure you realise, of course, that came from having a dad who was a heroin addict. If your dad’s a heroin addict you’re not going to be someone who wakes up in the morning and does a to-do list.”

★ BOY George is already the highest-paid star in the jungle, but it looks like he’s getting a little extra.

Ant and Dec have been regularly singing Karma Chameleon after welcoming him to the show.

A music expert said ITV will need to pay a small amount in royalties for using the hit track.

They said: “Boy George is listed as a song writer, but the label owns the recording rights.

“Boy George will receive a percentage of these royalties based on whatever his record and publishing deal specifies.”

★ The Geordie hosts say they were “close” to getting Roy Keane in the Jungle and hope to sign him up for the 2023 series. They were speaking about possible future contestants as they discussed Olivia Attwood’s exit and if she could return next year.

★ Ant said: “Roy Keane next year? We’ve asked him on a few occasions and he’s been close to saying yes.” Dec added: “I would love Roy Keane, he is top of our list.”

★ SHIRLEY Ballas wants to go on I’m A Celebrity.

The Strictly judge, 62, reckons she’d be fearless on the ITV show.

She told the Daily Star: “I love I’m A Celebrity, I love Ant and Dec and I love the prospect of going to Australia. I’d push myself.

“I could do it well. I’m not frightened of flies. I don’t like snakes and rats, but all they will do is crawl on you. They’re not going to eat you.”
