A MAN has been crowned winner of a sausagethrowing contest after hurling a banger 110ft.

Todd Rothwell smashed rivals’ attempts at Essex’s Harwich Sausage Festival.

But he could not beat his own 2019 record, which reached 171ft thanks to a “strong tailwind”.
