Marathon man’s got lot of puff

CHAIN SMOKER RUNS 26 MILES IN 3.5 HOURS

A RUNNER completed a marathon in just three-and-a-half hours, despite chain smoking for the entire 26 miles.

The 50-year-old – known as Uncle Chen – has gone viral after he was snapped lighting up during the gruelling race.

He finished the Xin’anjiang Marathon in China in an impressive 3:28:45. Organisers shared his finishing certificate showing he crossed the line 574th – just outside the top third of 1,500 runners who took part. People on social media hailed Uncle Chen’s feat after pictures of him running and smoking went global.

One wrote: “There goes my hero. Watch him as he smokes.”

It is claimed Uncle Chen also ran the 2018 Guangzhou Marathon and the 2019 Xiamen Marathon while smoking.
