Manu puts the boot in
NEW ZEALAND’S Joseph Manu is the Golden Boot winner as the world’s best player. Fullback Manu saw off competition from England duo Victor Radley and George Williams.
Raecene McGregor claimed the Women’s Golden Boot, after helping the Ferns reach their final with three tries and seven assists. The Wheelchair award was won by England’s Seb Bechara, with six tries ahead of Friday’s World Cup final against France.
In the Men’s team of the tournament, Radley and Williams are joined by Tom Burgess. The 2022 Woman of
Steel Tara-Jane Stanley, Vicky Molyneux, Courtney WinfieldHill and Vicky Whitfield are also named. Bechara, Jack Brown and Joe Coyd are the England players in the Wheelchair side.
