HARRY KANE landed in Qatar last night and immediately set his sights on winning another Golden Boot at the World Cup.

The England skipper was top scorer in Russia four years ago and aims to repeat the feat.

He said: “It is not the main thing I’m going for, but I know if I do end up with the Golden Boot, it will be good for the team, a good bonus.

“I’m excited, a World Cup is a special occasion.

“I think for most professionals it is the biggest tournament you can play in as a player, and I

have been lucky enough to do one and it was one of my greatest experiences.”

England’s team were given a rousing speech by Prince William on Monday night before they flew out.

They will have their first training session as a group today in Doha and Spurs striker Kane is ready to hit the ground running in the opener against Iran on Monday – despite it being just over a week since the Premier League paused.

“It’s something we have to be conscious of, we play on Monday and it is a really important game,” Kane told The Lions’ Den show.

“Everyone is match fit and ready to go, we should be ready.”
