YOU KANE NOT DO THAT, WILLS!

- By JAMES CAVEN

WILLS says he’ll support Wales and England in Qatar after being slammed by Michael Sheen – even though the teams will play against each other.

The heir to the throne spoke out after being blasted by the Welsh actor for handing out gifts to England’s World Cup players including captain Harry Kane while holding the title of Prince of Wales. The Three Lions play Wales on Tuesday, November 29, at the Al Rayyan Stadium in a Battle of Britain.

Ardent Dragons fan Sheen had said that the visit to hand out shirts at England’s World Cup camp was “entirely inappropriate” while he was Prince of Wales. But Wills visited Cardiff yesterday to say he will be supporting “both” nations at the tournament.

He said: “I support both. I support England more in the football, but Wales in the rugby. When I was growing up, Wales didn’t get through to the tournaments.

“Getting to the World Cup is a big deal and I’ll be supporting Wales through the process.”

The Prince is hoping the two nations meet again at the Lusail Stadium in Doha on Sunday, December 18, to decide who wins the trophy.

He said: “An England v Wales World Cup final would be the best, wouldn’t it? That would be really good.
