KILLED ‘ON SERVICE’
TWO hero Brits died while fighting Russian forces on the frontline in Ukraine, an inquest heard.
Jordan Gatley, 24, from Sandbach, Ches, was shot by a sniper in Severodonetsk just days after showing other foreign volunteers how to use antitank weapons.
An inquest at Oxford Coroner’s Court also heard how dad-of-three Scott Sibley, 36, from Immingham, Lincs, was killed by bombs dropped by drones in Mykolaiv.
The men, who had separately signed up in March, were “killed while on active service for the Ukrainian foreign legion”, senior coroner Darren Salter ruled.
