DOM TOM INQUIRY
MR NO-BRAIN REFERS HIMSELF
BRAINLESS Dominic Raab has called for a probe into claims of bullying – against himself.
Two formal complaints have been made about the Justice Secretary and Deputy PM who is said to have chucked tomatoes from a Pret salad at his staff.
But yesterday Raab denied the allegations as he took Prime Minister’s Questions while PM Rishi Sunak was at the G20 Summit in Bali.
Raab said he was “confident” he had behaved “professionally”.
He told the Commons: “I will take it as an arti- cle of personal faith that we behave with absolute integrity and accountability.” When he was challenged about the alleged tomato incident, Raab said: “That never happened.” Labour’s deputy leader Angela Rayner then said: “When will they appoint an independent ethics advisor and drain the swamp?” Sunak wants to appoint a permanent independent adviser but in the meantime someone else will take charge. A Downing Street spokesman said: “They will report to the Prime Minister.”
