Fury at monkey ‘slaves’

A MEAL delivery company has been accused of using a product with coconuts picked by slave monkeys.

PETA says HelloFresh uses coconut milk from firms Suree and Aroy-D, who it says have previously forced monkeys to work.

The animal rights group claims monkeys have been “abused for profit” by some Thai firms making canned coconut milk. HelloFresh says it has “written assurances” from suppliers that no monkeys were used.
