WARMING DOES OUR HEADS IN!

- ■ by MARK WAGHORN news@dailystar.co,uk

HEADACHES are getting worse due to climate change, say scientists.

Global warming is behind a rise in neurological conditions, from migraines to Alzheimer’s, studies show.

People with diseases like Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis may also experience worsening symptoms, while strokes are expected to become more common as the planet heats. Global warming causes air pollution. Traffic and industrial smog contain tiny toxic particles, PM2.5s, which can travel to the brain.

Lead author Dr Andrew Dhawan, of Cleveland, USA, said: “Neurologists must [now] anticipate how disease may change.”
